Our Commentary

The Guild Global Market Commentary and the Guild Global Market Premium Commentary are weekly email newsletters. In both versions of the commentary we discuss global macroeconomic events and trends that effect global investment markets.

The History of Guild’s Global Market Commentary

Since 1971, Monty Guild has been managing investment portfolios and writing to investment advisory clients about the state of the markets and the investment opportunities he sees. In the Guild Investment Management records, we have copies of these quarterly letters going all the way back to the (pre-word processing 1970’s).

In 2003, after many years of requests, Guild began to make these market musings available to the public. At that time, we also published the previous five years of letters on our website www.guildinvestment.com .

The Commentary Archive on our website includes all of our letters dating back to 1998. We encourage you to take a look at them.

The Commentary Has Evolved…

From a quarterly letter to investment advisory clients, the commentary is now a weekly must read email that reaches over 55,000 readers and is frequently quoted and re-printed in various news outlets.

…and Will Continue to Evolve.

At the start of 2012, there are two subscription levels. A free weekly commentary will still be sent to subscribers, while a more complete Premium Commentary is going to be available to our gold subscribers and investment advisory clients.

The Premium Commentary includes more in-depth analysis on countries, industries, and companies, and provides specific timely investment ideas and recommendations.

Gold subscribers will also be invited to participate in periodic group conference calls with Guild Investment Management portfolio managers and analysts. Guild Investment Management will also periodically send flash alerts and recommendation changes to our gold subscribers.
